I got bids from all the local remediation companies after discovering low levels of meth residue in a property I had under contract. AEI Decon came in at the low end of the price range, and we were impressed by Nate’s fast communication (even outside of normal business hours) and willingness to go above and beyond to give us the best service possible. His competitors all spoke very highly of him and his work. AEI Decon is the oldest remediation company in Utah, and they actually trained Meth Mob. They also use proprietary cleaning chemicals that other companies don't have access to.

After meeting with two other companies about stains on our ceiling after we had water leak through our roof, I was freaked. One company told me it would cost thousands of dollars to repair. Another told me they only did the demolition, and couldn't tell me how much it would be or how much their sister company would charge for restoration. And yet a third one wanted to charge me a ton of money and do everything. I was convinced we were breathing toxic mold spores and my family would soon be very ill. Enter Eric with AEI!

I just got a strong feeling to call him. Eric came to our home, told me it didn't look like mold, but just water stains. He's the first one who talked about doing a mold spore test to see how much mold was in the air, and THEN we'd discuss what needed to be done if anything. I anxiously waited about 5 days, preparing myself for the worst. Eric called me, as well as texted me the report. The mold was almost non-existent!! He said it was definitely "in line with a home that does not have a mold problem." He was super kind, reasonable on the price of the test (half of what one of the others quoted me), answered all my questions and didn't make me feel rushed. And when I thought of a couple more questions and called him a couple of days later, he got right back to me and put my concerns at ease.

He said he would have told me if there was a mold problem, that he can always use work, but that he wasn't going to lie and tell me there was one to make money! What an awesome, honest guy. If more people owned and ran their businesses like him, the world would be a much better place!

We had multiple companies evaluate our project and selected Eric at AEI Decon to do the work and we are extremely pleased. We had a pretty extensive decontamination job that needed to be done for the sake of a home. Eric took extra time to educate us the the process and gave us options to help minimise our costs. Other companies were pushy and tried to use scare tactics to force us to use them. He was by far the most educated on the process and how to create a solution of the 3 companies we got proposal’s from. We expected his pricing to be significantly higher due to his professionalism but we surprised to find out his proposal was about 20% less than a he others.

Not sure where to begin. Nate was amazing! I was in the process of selling my home when an unexpected test came back positive. I had received a quote from the company the buyer recommended and was quoted pretty high. I decided to google search and AEI Decon popped up first with great reviews! I texted Nate on a weekend and he got back to me and was very friendly. He explained the process and gave me a better quote (half the price of the other)!!! My buyer's were uncertain about going with someone else. I asked Nate for help and he reached out to them and answered any questions and concerns they had.
